Hesperus Dimension - Zwaremetalen webzine

Hesperus Dimension exists of three Poles. Nahald, the composer, is an allround music maker. His Polish companions may be as metal as it can be, Nahald is active in many electronic bands ranging from industrial, ebm and experimental electro. This clearly influences HD.

Compared to the previous ep not that much has changed about the concept. The digital-drenched black metal is still very intense and has a great "wow-effect" on your mental capabilities. On "Tcp" it's not all black induced metal forming the aspect of the music. This time there are also more progressive elements in the music, and more depth. Also the vocals seem to be biotechnological, half organic, half artificial. Sometimes the balans seems to be distorted, inconsequent use of the mixingtable, lack of vision or superhuman geniality? I don't know, but the lack of a fixed sound bothers me a bit. On the previous ep this was better (or less complex, however you want to hear it).

A lot of atmosphere, very ingenious, and guaranteed to play a lot. Recommended for fans of A, D and perhaps also B. Drumcomputer is included, just as mandatory electroscapes. Check it out.

Hesperus Dimension bestaat drie Polen. Nahald, het componerende brein van de bende, is iemand die in vele werelden thuis is. Zijn Poolse kompanen mogen dan wel zo metal zijn als het maar zijn kan, Nahald is actief in vele electronische bands gaande van ambient over industrial, EBM en experimentele electro. Dat heeft duidelijk zijn weerslag op Hesperus Dimension.

In vergelijking met de vorige EP is niet zo bijster veel veranderd aan het concept. De digitaal-doordrongen black metal is net altijd even intensief en bezit een groot wow-effect op je geestelijk vermogen. Op The Cyclothymic Panopticon is het niet allemaal black geïnduceerde metal die het harde aspect van de muziek vormt. Deze keer zijn er nog progressievere fragmenten in de composities, en nog meer diepgang. Ook de zang lijkt wel biotechnologisch te zijn, half organisch, half... kunstmatig. Soms is de balans verstoord lijkt het wel, inconsequent gebruik van de mixingtafel, gebrek aan visie of bovenmenselijke genialiteit? Ik weet het niet, maar het gebrek aan vaste sound ambeteert me een beetje. Dat was op de vorige EP beter (of complexlozer, het is maar hoe je het hoort).
Heel veel sfeer, heel veel vernuft en heel veel onderhoudende speelbeurten gegarandeerd. Aanrader voor fans van Aborym, Dodheimsgard en eventueel Blacklodge. Drumcomputer is included, evenals de verplichte electroscapes. Check it out!
